Short Term Stays

Hearth & Home assisted living offers short-term stays (respite care) in a beautifully furnished private room with bath. This service is available for as little as a single night or as long as needed (up to 90 days).

• Full use of a family-style home, featuring short distances to dining and living areas, with private room and bath.
• Fresh, home-style cooking, planned around personal preferences (3 meals and snacks daily).
• Emergency call system that includes a personally worn pendant for immediate voice response from home staff. Caregivers receive calls from anywhere in the house on portable phones.
• Nurse in-house 16 hours a day, seven days a week (on call from 11 pm to 7am).
• Social options and activities tailored to individual interests.
• Meal and snack preparation.
• Housekeeping, laundry and cable services are included.
• Medication and incontinence management.

Who Typically Needs These Temporary Care Services?

Respite:

• Those requiring recuperation following an illness or injury.
• Those needing post-surgery care.
• Those undergoing specialized treatments (cancer, rehabilitation, orthopedic, etc).
• Those families or care givers needing time for other responsibilities, vacations, or recuperating themselves.

Daily respite rates are determined based on an individual's assessment level.

Adult Day Care

Hearth & Home offers hourly assisted care for adults needing this service. Day Care is available for an hour or all day for as many days a week as you need us. We'll provide your loved one a safe, supervised environment.

Meals, snacks, activities and entertainment are all included.
